I started my career in Manufacturing and in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) at McDonnell Douglas as a graduate of M.S. Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1986. My experience at McDonnell Douglass included multiple roles, multiple commercial and defense programs, and multiple assembly, fabrication, and paint departments.

Over the last few decades, I’ve had the opportunity to work on streamlining the paperwork and information flow between Engineering, Quality and Production disciplines with multiple Aerospace and Defense companies including Airbus, Boeing, General Dynamics, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, Gulfstream, B&W Technologies, Parker Hannifin, ARINC, ATK, and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

Recently focused on Smart Manufacturing, Business Process Management, Model-Based Engineering and Manufacturing, Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing Intelligence projects.

The opinions expressed in this blog are strictly my opinions and do not reflect the opinion of any company I work for, do business with, or any association I belong to.
